POWERING THE ENERGY TRANSITION ACROSS AUSTRALIA

Megavar is a specialist high voltage engineering company providing substation commissioning, HV testing, maintenance, design, and test equipment hire across Australia. Founded in Tasmania and now operating from four offices with a team of 60+ engineers and technicians, Megavar delivers services to transmission utilities, renewable energy developers, EPCs, resources companies, and heavy industry. As practising commissioning engineers, not just consultants or contractors, Megavar brings direct field experience to every project. Our team commissions substations, BESS installations, wind farms, and solar plants on networks from TasNetworks and ElectraNet to Ausgrid and Ergon. That hands-on experience means we understand the practical realities of HV work, not just the theory.
