Excitement is in the air as our team embarks on an exciting project, re-commissioning a 110 kV Transmission Line Bay with all the latest technology—brand new Circuit Breakers (CB), Current Transformers (CTs), Voltage Transformers (VTs), Disconnectors, and Earth Switches. But our work doesn’t stop there; we’re also integrating this cutting-edge equipment into the existing protection and control schemes.
One of the most interesting challenges we’ve encountered is integrating the new CT circuits, which are switched through the Disconnector Auxiliary contacts, into the existing High-Impedance Bus Zone protection scheme. Our skilled team has successfully balanced this scheme with other in-service CT circuits across the substation bays, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
This project is a testament to our commitment to delivering reliable, innovative solutions for our clients’ critical infrastructure needs.
