All Megavar test equipment is maintained under a documented calibration programme. Instruments are calibrated either by external calibration laboratories or in-house against reference standards that are themselves laboratory-calibrated, with measurement traceable to Australian national measurement standards held by the National Measurement Institute. A current calibration certificate is available on request. If your project requires a specific calibration interval, test standard, or documentation for a client submission, tell us at enquiry on 1300 730 499 and we will confirm what applies before you commit.

It measures very low resistance values using high test current to validate high‑current connections, contact surfaces and joints.
It can output up to 600 A DC (subject to load and test conditions), which ensures highly accurate resistance measurement in large conductors.
Higher test current reduces measurement errors from contact and lead resistance, and gives a more realistic representation of performance in high‑current systems.
Yes. The unit is compact (less than ~15 kg) and ruggedised, making it suitable for substation, industrial or remote site deployment.
Results (up to 300 records) can be stored in onboard memory with notes, and then downloaded via RS232 or USB for reporting and analysis.
The rental package includes the DLRO 600A main unit, high‑current test leads and Kelvin clamps, power cable/charger, USB or RS232 download cable, carry case and quick‑start guide.
Yes. We provide remote or onsite support for setup, connection guidance and interpretation of results as required.
The standard minimum hire period is 3 days. Weekly or monthly hire rates are available at discounted pricing for extended projects.
