Megavar engineers use this unit on commissioning projects across Australia. Hire it from a team that knows it inside out.
It measures the opening and closing times of a circuit breaker’s main contacts, bounce times, reclosing intervals, and auxiliary contact performance (such as 52a and 52b sequences).
Yes. It supports both single-pole and three-pole timing. You can test all three poles simultaneously or independently, depending on breaker configuration.
Yes. With optional coil current clamps and modules, the TM1600 can capture trip and close coil current profiles, useful for diagnostic analysis.
No. Unlike CIBANO 500, the TM1600 typically requires at least one side of the breaker to be isolated from ground for accurate timing.
Motion analysis is supported via additional transducer modules and accessories (not always included as standard). Please enquire if travel testing is required.
Most TM1600 units include either an onboard display or legacy PC connection. For advanced reporting, external software options may be provided (based on your rental configuration).
• TM1600 base unit
• Timing cables and test leads
• Coil control leads and contact sense inputs
• Carry case and printed operation manual
• (Optional) coil current probes, motion sensors (by request)
