Megavar engineers use this unit on commissioning projects across Australia. Hire it from a team that knows it inside out.
All Megavar test equipment is maintained under a documented calibration programme. Instruments are calibrated either by external calibration laboratories or in-house against reference standards that are themselves laboratory-calibrated, with measurement traceable to Australian national measurement standards held by the National Measurement Institute. A current calibration certificate is available on request. If your project requires a specific calibration interval, test standard, or documentation for a client submission, tell us at enquiry on 1300 730 499 and we will confirm what applies before you commit.

It performs a wide range of primary injection tests on power transformers, current and voltage transformers, circuit breakers, busbars, earth systems, and more.
The CPC 100 can output up to 800 A or 2000 V, depending on the selected configuration and connected load.
Yes. It accurately measures CT/VT ratio, phase displacement, burden, polarity, excitation (knee point), and saturation curves.
Yes. It supports winding resistance, short-circuit impedance, vector group checks, and magnetic balance tests on distribution and power transformers.
Yes. It integrates with Omicron’s PTM (Primary Test Manager) software for automated test plans, data capture, and professional reporting.
Yes. It is designed for field use and is housed in a compact, rugged case with wheels and handles, suitable for substation environments.
Yes. We offer full technical support, including remote setup assistance and help with test configuration, execution, and interpretation.
The hire includes the CPC 100 main unit, current and voltage leads, control cables, laptop (on request), carry case, and software access. Optional accessories like the CP TD1 (for tan delta testing) may be available on request.
