The FRANEO 800 measures the transformer’s frequency response and compares it against fingerprint or sister-unit results, so problems are found before a unit is returned to service.
Typical hire scenarios: post-transport verification before energisation, routine condition assessment during planned outages, and investigation after a protection trip. Megavar hires the FRANEO 800 with leads and current accessories, and our commissioning engineers can run the test and interpret results if you need the capability rather than just the instrument.
